Requirements

• MINIMUM EDUCATION High school diploma or GED; relevant experience in lieu of High School Diploma/GED education will be considered. Graduation from a technical program preferred.
• MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE Previous experience in Physical Therapy clinic preferred.
• REQUIRED LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS Basic Life Support certification required through the American Heart Association or other pre-approved accredited certification program.
• REQUIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITIES Knowledge of regulations, QA and procedures, and quality patient care.
• Successful completion department specific and/or hospital required training courses.
• Must be able to treat patients of all ages from pediatric to geriatric.

Nice To Haves

• Graduation from a technical program preferred.
• Previous experience in Physical Therapy clinic preferred.

Responsibilities

• Under the direct supervision of a Physical Therapist, the Physical Therapy Technician the person will be utilized in supervised patient treatments and in maintaining the PT department in a clean and orderly manner.
