About The Position

The Center for Orthopedic Research and Education is seeking a dedicated individual to assist the Physical Therapist with patient care and the implementation of treatment plans. This role involves establishing and maintaining effective communication with patients, family members, and other departments, ensuring a high level of patient satisfaction. The position also includes responsibilities such as assisting front office staff, responding to patient inquiries, and maintaining a safe and clean environment in the clinic. Additionally, the candidate will assist with supply inventorying and stocking, support the director with special projects, and help facilitate seamless clinic operations.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• 6 months experience in a healthcare setting

Nice To Haves

• 6 months or more of experience in an outpatient physical therapy clinic
• Experience with orthopedics
• Graduation from a technical program is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Physical Therapist with patient care and implementing the plan of treatment.
• Establish and maintain effective communication with patients, family members, and other departments.
• Assist the front office staff as needed.
• Respond to patient questions and inquiries to maintain high patient satisfaction levels.
• Responsible for care and maintenance of equipment and keeping a safe and clean environment in the clinic.
• Assist with supply inventorying and stocking.
• Assist the director with special projects.
• Maintain patient confidentiality.
• Assist all patients on the rehabilitation floor.
• Assist with seamless and efficient clinic function and daily clinic flow.
