Key Responsibilities: - Assist licensed physical therapists in implementing treatment plans for patients - Prepare treatment areas and equipment for therapy sessions - Check in patients and ensure accurate documentation of patient information - Enter correct billing codes into the computer system for insurance and billing purposes - Support daily operations of the physical therapy department to ensure smooth workflow - Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to healthcare regulations - Perform administrative tasks related to patient scheduling and record keeping and other clerical duties.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional healthcare or administrative training preferred
  • Previous experience in a healthcare setting, particularly in physical therapy or billing, is a plus
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Proficiency with computers and basic office software
  • Knowledge of medical billing codes and insurance procedures is desirable
