About the position
Mountain Land Physical Therapy is seeking an entry-level Physical Therapy Tech to assist licensed Physical Therapists in providing excellent patient care at the Moab Outpatient Clinic. This role is designed for individuals with little to no experience in the medical field who are eager to learn and build a career in healthcare. The position offers on-the-job training and the opportunity to participate in a Pre-PT Pathway, which can lead to scholarships for further education in Physical Therapy.
Responsibilities
- Assist Physical Therapists with patient needs and exercises.
- Conduct patient check-ins and provide support during therapy sessions.
- Participate in on-the-job training alongside licensed professionals.
- Engage with patients to ensure a positive experience and assist with their rehabilitation goals.
Requirements
- Interest in gaining clinical experience in the medical field.
- Passion for health and wellness.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to commit to a set schedule.
Nice-to-haves
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting (not required).
