Physical Therapy Program - Practitioner-in-Residence

The Practitioner-in-Residence will provide direct patient care in the Missouri State University Physical Therapy Clinic, including both insurance-based and pro bono services. This role involves serving as a clinical expert in orthopedic physical therapy and manual therapy techniques, supervising and mentoring Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) students in the provision of care within the pro bono clinic, and assisting in the instruction and supervision of students in musculoskeletal laboratory courses. The Practitioner-in-Residence will contribute clinical expertise to support hands-on learning and participate in department activities and initiatives as assigned by the Physical Therapy Program Director. Additionally, this position will serve as a resource and role model for students and faculty in the application of evidence-based orthopedic physical therapy and engage in professional service or clinical scholarship.
