About The Position

The Physical Therapist Intern will evaluate and treat students at iHope under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist. This internship aims to enhance clinical decision-making and thinking skills through hands-on experience and collaboration with patients and health professionals.

Requirements

• Current enrollment in a physical therapy program.
• Ability to work under the direction of a licensed physical therapist.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in a clinical setting.
• Familiarity with evidence-based practice in physical therapy.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat students at iHope with parental consent.
• Assess, plan, and implement physical therapy treatment appropriate to the patient's needs.
• Observe and report on the condition, conduct, and progress of patients to the assigned clinical instructor.
• Provide an in-service presentation on current practices in Physical Therapy or a case presentation to the Physical Therapy department.
