About The Position
The Physical Therapist Assistant provides physical therapy services to patients in the home as prescribed by the attending physician and under the supervision of a Licensed Physical Therapist. Provides individualized skilled care as indicated. Assists staff Physical Therapists with patient treatments. Administers physical therapy treatment in the home (per physician orders) within scope of practice. Assists patients in exercising and walking to strengthen each patient to their fullest physical capabilities in order to restore them into functional activities in daily life as much as possible. Assists patients in use of prosthetic, orthotics, and assistive devices and with transfers and bed mobility.
