About The Position
Baptist Medical Center is looking to add a Physical Therapy Assistant to our Outpatient Rehab Department in Jacksonville, FL. This is a full-time position at our Outpatient Clinic in Downtown Jacksonville working day shift hours. No weekend requirements. We are looking to add a Physical Therapy Assistant to our adult outpatient team. Caseload includes various diagnoses - neurological, orthopedic, cardiac, and general medical. The ideal candidate for this position will have experience in treating patients in an outpatient setting. Requirements
- Active BLS from the American Heart Association
- Licensure from the FL Department of Health required
- Associate's Degree Required
- 1-2 years Experience as Physical Therapy Assistant preferred
- General Outpatient Rehab Experience preferred

Responsibilities
- Under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist, provides physical therapy services to patients, as prescribed by the attending physician, in order to help improve or restore function and prevent disability following injury, disease, or physical disability.
- Participates in departmental operations and in performance improvement activities.
- Responsible for remaining within budget guidelines.
- Participate in mandatory education and licensure requirements.
