About The Position

GENERAL SUMMARY: Conduct medically prescribed physical therapy under the supervision of a physical therapist. Provide physical therapy interventions under a plan of care written by a physical therapist. Perform therapy interventions utilizing techniques and skills as appropriate for the patient population. Document treatment interventions given. may coordinate activities of physical therapy aides, students and other support personnel.

Requirements

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Rehab Therapist specializing in Physical Therapy Asst credentialed from the Michigan Board of Physical Therapy required.
• High School diploma or equivalency
• Physical Therapy Assistant Degree from an accredited college.
