About The Position
The Visiting Nurse Association of Florida (VNA) is a 50-year-old home health agency that is growing and looking to hire Physical Therapy Assistants (PTAs) in Citrus County. As a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA), you will work with referral sources from the healthcare community to provide therapy services according to physician's orders and under the supervision of a registered Physical Therapist to meet the needs of individuals and families in their homes. You will also assess patients' conditions and report significant changes to the registered PT and nursing supervisors.
Requirements
- Must have at least 1 year experience working as a PTA in either an outpatient facility or hospital setting
Responsibilities
- Provide therapy services according to physician's orders and under the supervision of a registered Physical Therapist to meet the needs of individuals and families in their homes
- Assess patients' conditions and report significant changes to the registered PT and nursing supervisors
