The Physical Therapist Assistant’s (PTA) overall responsibility is to provide care to the resident at the highest level. Position Information Location: Beverly, MA Facility: CareOne Essex Park $30.00 - $45.00 Compensation will be based on, but not limited to, experience, qualifications, credentials, employment status, and work schedule Practice Setting: (Short Term Rehab, Assisted Living, LTACH, Long Term Care)

Requirements

  • Associate’s Degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant Program.
  • Current and Active Physical Therapy Assistant license within the state of operations.

Nice To Haves

  • Prefer-experience/knowledge in older adult rehabilitation.
  • Prefer knowledge in governmental and regulatory guidelines in designated healthcare settings.

Responsibilities

  • Provides rehabilitation care within all general accepted practice methods, meeting all center, state, federal, and accrediting standards.
  • Implements treatment plans as outlined by the supervising therapist.
  • Provides feedback to the designated supervisor on all clinical and rehabilitation issues.
  • Participates in the screening of all residents according to directed schedules and practices.
  • Participates in all center directed processes and services.
  • Shows effective management of treatment and non-treatment related activities.
  • Performs necessary clinical documentation to meet center, state, federal, and accrediting agency requirements.
  • Maintains complete, accurate and timely billing records to meet center, state, federal, and accrediting agency requirements
  • Participates in in-service training programs as requested
  • May travel to other facilities to provide services on a limited basis
