About The Position
The Visiting Nurse Association of Florida (VNA) is a 50-year-old home health agency that provides a full array of home care services for Tampa General Hospital patients and those in the community needing home care. The VNA is growing and looking to hire Physical Therapy Assistants (PTAs) in South Pinellas County. As a PTA, you will work with referral sources from the healthcare community to provide therapy services in patients' homes according to physician's orders and under the supervision of a registered Physical Therapist. The role involves assessing patients' conditions and reporting significant changes to the registered PT and nursing supervisors. The agency offers flexible scheduling, independent practice, a supportive scheduling team, and a variety of clients. They are looking for individuals with a passion for helping others who want to work for a home care agency that treats its employees like family.
Requirements
- Must have at least 1 year experience working as a PTA in either an outpatient facility or hospital setting
Responsibilities
