About The Position

GENERAL OVERVIEW Conducts physical therapy treatment programs under the supervision of a Physical Therapist; effectively communicates and collaborates with patients, families, and members of the health care team. May oversee support staff. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES Provides physical therapy interventions based upon the plan of care written by a physical therapist utilizing standard, and possibly specialized, physical therapy techniques and skills as appropriate for the age and condition of the patient. (80%) Completes documentation to comply with department, hospital, and regulatory standards. (15%) Participates in departmental initiatives for operational improvement including committees and educational offerings. (5%) Performs all other duties as assigned or required.

Requirements

• Minimum Licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant in Pennsylvania OR Physical Therapist Assistant Indirect Supervision in Pennsylvania or eligibility for licensure
• CPR – American Heart Association
• Act 34 Criminal Background Clearance Certificate
• Act 33 Child Abuse Clearance Certificate
• Act 73 FBI Fingerprinting Criminal Background Clearance Certificate

• Current state driver's license
