About The Position
We are seeking a highly motivated Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our team at Landmark Hospital of Columbia LLC, MO. As a Physical Therapy Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting our Physical Therapists in providing high-quality rehabilitation services to our patients. Your primary goal will be to help our patients regain their physical strength and mobility and improve their overall quality of life. You will work closely with our team of healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans for each patient and monitor their progress throughout their rehabilitation journey. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a strong commitment to patient care and a passion for helping others. Shift requirements: PRN / Flexible
Requirements
- Associate's degree in Physical Therapy Assistant program
- Valid Physical Therapy Assistant license in the state of Missouri
- Experience working in an outpatient setting
- Knowledge of Universal Precautions and Voluntary Insurance Programs
- Ability to lift and carry heavy weights
- Excellent eye-hand coordination
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy Assistant program
- Experience working with a diverse patient population
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
Responsibilities
- Assist Physical Therapists in providing rehabilitation services to patients
