Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and compassionate PRN Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to provide high-quality rehabilitation services on an as-needed basis. The PTA will work closely with Physical Therapists to implement treatment plans, assist patients in restoring movement and function, and contribute to their overall recovery and well-being.

Requirements

  • Education: Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
  • Licensure: Active Physical Therapy Assistant license in Missouri
  • Skills: Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience: Prior experience in rehabilitation or clinical settings preferred.
  • Certifications: CPR certification (preferred).

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Physical Therapist in evaluating patients and executing treatment plans.
  • Provide direct therapy services, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and mobility training.
  • Educate patients on therapeutic techniques and proper use of assistive devices.
  • Observe and document patient progress and report any changes to the Physical Therapist.
  • Maintain accurate and timely records of therapy sessions in compliance with regulatory guidelines.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure a comprehensive approach to patient care.
  • Adhere to ethical and professional standards of practice in physical therapy.
