About The Position

MaxHealth is looking to hire a Full-time Licensed Outpatient Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to work at our Lakewood Ranch location to provide superior care helping patients improve their movement and manage their pain from chronic conditions or injuries. As a Physical Therapy Assistant: you will work under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to implement the treatment plan and provide high quality rehabilitative care to patients recovering from injury, illness, or surgery. Educate and assist patients in proper form and technique and progression of exercise, manual therapy and neuromuscular re-education. Document daily progress notes in EMR and report to PT with any updates and changes and provide quality care while seeing patients one on one. Requirements

Have completed professional degree
Hold a valid physical therapist assistant license
Be proficient in modalities such as ultrasound and electrical stimulation
Strong communication and customer service skills at all levels of interaction
Knowledge of medical terminology Computer Skills (Preferably experience with EMR/EHR)
Ability to Multi-Task and prioritize
Ability to function well in a fast-paced environment
