About The Position

Assists the Physical Therapist in the preparation of patients for treatment, provide treatment to patients as directed by the Physical Therapist, and assist to maintain physical therapy equipment and department in a clean manner. HOURS: Full-time, 72 hours per pay period, Monday-Friday hours between 8:00am-4:30pm. Primary locations will be Garner Rec Center and Garner Medical Clinic, occasionally will be in Britt.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
• Must be currently licensed in the state of Iowa or be eligible for licensure.
• Must be able to communicate and be understood by staff physicians, and patients.
• Must have ability to provide physical therapy treatments to patients referred for services.
• Must have ability to frequently lift 50 pounds and occasionally 75 pounds.
• Must have ability to visually observe and monitor patients.
