Requirements

• Associate's degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
• Rhode Island PTA license in good standing.
• At least 2 years of experience working with young children, ideally those with special needs.
• Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and auto insurance.
• Passion for equity, inclusion, and working with families from diverse backgrounds.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with families to promote the healthy growth and development of their child through play-based, developmentally appropriate activities.
• Deliver in-home and remote physical therapy support services to children with developmental delays or medical conditions.
• Partner on evaluations, IFSP planning, and service coordination with a multidisciplinary team.
• Document care and communicate progress effectively and professionally.
• Support transitions as children age out of Early Intervention.
• Participate in supervision, team meetings, and continuous learning.
