About The Position

As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will be instrumental in helping patients recover and regain their strength by implementing physical therapy programs, following recovery plans, and delivering therapy treatments. This role requires a compassionate individual who can address the whole patient, execute programs to restore and enhance physical abilities, and adapt to patient needs. Collaboration with peers and making referrals for comprehensive patient care are also key aspects. Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant Program certified by the American Physical Therapy Association
  • Licensed and/or eligible for licensure as required by the state of practice

Responsibilities

  • Implement physical therapy programs and activities
  • Follow developed recovery plans
  • Deliver therapy treatments
  • Address the whole patient and see them as an individual
  • Execute a program that will restore, reinforce, and enhance their physical abilities
  • Be adaptable to the needs of the patient and find joy in the variety of the work and the settings
  • Collaborate with peers
  • Make referrals to help patients get the care they need to thrive
  • Ensure patients and their families receive the highest quality of service in a caring and compassionate atmosphere
