About The Position

Will complete treatments per initial evaluation completed by a physical therapist; monitor response to treatment and modify treatment appropriately; attend designated clinics, rounds and conferences and render patient information; complete appropriate documentation. Other responsibilities include: providing in-service education and community education within the scope of knowledge base, clinically supervise PTA SL1, PTA students, rehab therapy USTs, and volunteers.

Requirements

• Associates degree as a Physical Therapy Assistant
• NYS License or eligible (must receive license in 1 year)
• Two years clinical experience required
• CPR certification required by time of appointment

Nice To Haves

• Less than 2 years experience will be considered for appointment to an entry level (SL1) position at commensurate salary
