About The Position

The staff Physical Therapist Assistant functions under the supervision of the rehabilitation leadership team and the department director. The Physical Therapist Assistant provides direct patient/client care under general supervision of the therapist responsible for the specific patient's/client's plan of care. The staff Physical Therapist Assistant assumes responsibility and accountability for providing physical therapy treatment as determined by a plan of care established by a Physical Therapist in accordance with established hospital and departmental policies, maintaining the highest degree of quality patient care. Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant school.
  • Washington Physical Therapy Assistant License upon hire.
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
  • Medicare National Provider Identification Number (NPI) within 30 days of hire.
  • Specialized physical therapy training or experience may be required.
