Your Impact As a Physical Therapy Assistant at MetroEHS Pediatric Therapy, you will: Support children in reaching developmental milestones and improving mobility through hands-on therapy sessions. Collaborate closely with licensed physical therapists to deliver individualized treatment plans tailored to each child's needs. Facilitate therapeutic exercises and play-based activities that enhance coordination, balance, and overall physical function. Promote family involvement by educating caregivers on at-home therapeutic techniques and progress strategies. Track and communicate patient progress, contributing to the refinement of treatment plans and goals. Adapt equipment and toys to maximize child engagement and independence during therapy. Help maintain a safe, welcoming, and well-organized therapy space to support effective treatment sessions.
