Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited PTA program
  • Active or pending Illinois PTA license
  • A heart for serving older adults
  • Strong interpersonal, teamwork, and communication skills

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in acute care, long-term care, or rehab is helpful—but not required

Responsibilities

  • Partner closely with the Physical Therapist to carry out individualized treatment plans
  • Deliver purposeful, engaging interventions that support mobility, strength, and daily function
  • Build supportive, trusting relationships with residents and their families
  • Document treatments accurately and efficiently
  • Maintain productivity expectations with integrity and compassion
  • Collaborate with a dedicated interdisciplinary team that values your input and clinical skill
