Position Summary We are seeking a dedicated and patient‑centered Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our rehabilitation team. The PTA will work under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to deliver therapeutic interventions, improve mobility, and support resident recovery and wellness.
Requirements
- Current Physical Therapy Assistant license in the state of California
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative care team
Nice To Haves
- Experience in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) preferred, but not required
Responsibilities
- Assist in implementing individualized treatment plans as directed by the Physical Therapist
- Provide therapeutic exercises, mobility training, and functional activities
- Document resident progress in accordance with company policies and state/federal guidelines
- Educate residents and families on home exercises and safety
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support resident goals
- Maintain a safe and encouraging therapy environment
