Requirements
- Associate's degree; Graduate of a Program in Discipline Required
- Current Physical Therapy Assistant license in state of practice
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required
- Strong critical thinking, sound judgment, and the ability to perform effectively under pressure with minimal supervision
Nice To Haves
- Rehab or acute care experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Implementing individualized treatment plans developed by a supervising Physical Therapist.
- Applying appropriate therapeutic modalities, monitoring patient responses, and providing timely updates on progress or needed adjustments to treatment goals.
- Documenting all services rendered and educates patients and their families or caregivers about physical deficits and recovery strategies.
- Supporting discharge planning, advising on adaptive equipment, and connecting patients to community support resources.
