Texas Rehabilitation Hospital of Keller is a 36-bed inpatient rehabilitation hospital, offering exceptional care to the Kellery, TX community. We strive to maximize the health, function, and quality of life of those we serve through comprehensive physical medicine and rehabilitation programs. Our rehabilitation programs provide ongoing care and specialized treatment to patients throughout their recovery journey. We offer customized, intense rehabilitation tailored to the individual needs of those recovering from stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury.

Requirements

  • Applicants should be a graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program culminating in an associate’s degree.
  • Current and valid state PTA license or equivalent in the states where services are rendered
  • CPR certification (when required)

Responsibilities

  • Communicates patient progress or problems to supervisor and other team members; assist with patient scheduling and post charges daily to patient records.
  • Documents patient care in accordance with Peoplefirst, regulatory, licensing, payer and accrediting requirements.
  • Instructs patient's family or nursing staff in follow-through programs.
  • Maintains equipment and work area in a safe and clean condition.
  • Makes presentations to support marketing efforts, at team conferences and in-services.
  • Handles job responsibilities in accordance with the Company's Code of Business Conduct, the Corporate Compliance Agreement, appropriate professional standard and applicable state/federal laws.
