About The Position

As a Physical Therapy Assistant, you will work under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist to provide therapeutic interventions that help residents regain mobility, improve strength, and maximize functional independence. Your work will directly contribute to successful outcomes and the wellbeing of our residents.

Requirements

  • Current California PTA license in good standing
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and time‑management skills
  • Commitment to delivering compassionate, resident‑centered care

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in skilled nursing or post‑acute rehab preferred, but not required

Responsibilities

  • Implement physical therapy treatment plans as directed by the Physical Therapist
  • Deliver high‑quality therapeutic exercises, gait training, and functional mobility interventions
  • Accurately document services provided in accordance with facility and regulatory guidelines
  • Communicate progress, challenges, and recommendations to the therapy team
  • Participate in interdisciplinary care planning
  • Provide education to residents, families, and caregivers
  • Maintain a safe and supportive therapy environment
