Requirements

• Current New York State Physical Therapy Assistant license

Responsibilities

• Provide PTA services under a physician’s order and the supervision of a Physical Therapist
• Assist with resident treatment sessions and therapy-related care
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings
• Provide education to residents and their families
• Support treatment goals and help promote resident progress and function
• Follow facility policies, procedures, and New York State practice standards
