We are proud to be recognized by: Joint Commission Gold Seal of Approval  Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) UDS – Uniform Data System nationally ranked in the top 5% of Rehabilitation Hospitals in 2024 A Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) who excels in this role: The Physical Therapist Assistant provides physical therapy treatments under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, assisting in restoring function and improving mobility.

Requirements

  • Applicants should have a current TN physical therapy assistant licensure
  • Education: Associate’s degree from a PTA program.
  • Certifications: CPR certification required.
  • Team-oriented and patient-focused with strong communication skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience: Rehab or acute care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Administer physical therapy interventions as directed by the supervising PT.
  • Assist in patient mobility and exercise routines.
  • Monitor patient responses and report progress to PT.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
  • Ensure a safe and clean environment for treatment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
