How you’ll contribute The Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) provides therapeutic interventions under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to support patients across acute hospital, acute rehabilitation, inpatient, medical‑surgical, and outpatient settings. This role assists in restoring function, improving mobility, and promoting independence by implementing treatment plans, guiding mobility and exercise activities, and monitoring patient response to therapy. The PTA ensures accurate and timely documentation, maintains a safe and organized treatment environment, and collaborates effectively with the interdisciplinary team to support high‑quality, patient‑centered care. Additional responsibilities include communicating progress to the supervising PT and performing other duties as assigned. Requirements

  • Applicants should have Associate’s degree from a Physical Therapy Assistant program.
  • Current PTA license in state of practice.
  • Basic Life Support certification is required within 30 days of hire.

  • Rehab or acute care experience preferred.
