Requirements

  • Current, valid Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) License in the state of California.
  • A positive, team-oriented attitude and a passion for helping residents reach their peak functional potential.

Responsibilities

  • Treatment Implementation: Deliver high-quality physical therapy interventions as outlined in the plan of care developed by the Physical Therapist.
  • Functional Mobility: Guide residents through gait training, therapeutic exercises, and balance activities using our state-of-the-art equipment.
  • Documentation: Maintain precise and timely daily notes and progress reports in accordance with state and facility standards.
  • Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Work closely with a diverse team of therapists and nursing staff to ensure a holistic approach to resident recovery.
  • Resident Education: Instruct residents and their families on the safe use of assistive devices and home exercise programs.
