More about our team Join our rehabilitation team of clinicians (physical therapy, occupational therapy and speech language pathology) in an acute care hospital with 86 beds. Our featured hospital units include medical surgical, same day surgery, intensive care unit, progressive care unit, emergency department and women’s services. Requirements

  • Must be a graduate of an approved Physical Therapy Assistant program and possess an NC Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant.
  • Basic Life Support certification is required within 30 days of hire.
  • ACLS and PALS are required within six months of hire.

Nice To Haves

  • One year of experience preferred
  • ASLS certification preferred

Responsibilities

  • Supports therapist in assessing the condition of patients, planning treatment programs, preparing treatment schedules and keeping records on the progress of treatment.
  • Assists with therapeutic procedures or administering procedures under a therapist's supervision.
  • Assists in exercise instruction and demonstration, patient evaluation and testing.
