Physical Therapy Assistant / PTA (Full Time)
About The Position
A Full-Time Physical Therapy Assistant, (PTA), position is now available in our Methuen, MA location. Choice of schedule: M-F, Tuesday-Saturday or Sunday-Thursday. Nevins Nursing & Rehabilitation Center is a non-profit SNF on a healthcare campus with independent living, ALF, and adult day health. The SNF is run independently so we do not have any involvement with the other settings, however our patients often come from the campus/return there after their stay. The center was recently renovated and we have a large, brand-new therapy gym right off the subacute unit. It contains a large exercise space, kitchen/dining/laundry area, and office/documentation area. Lots of windows and light! Requirements
- Must have graduated from a 2 year accredited PTA progam, passed state boards or be eligible and hold a current valid MA PTA license.
- Possess a current Physical Therapy Assistant license or be license eligible to practice in the state employed
- Demonstrate strong computer skills with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and have experience with electronic documentation
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive and compassionate therapy services in a sub-acute/skilled nursing facility.
- Work collaboratively with other rehab therapists and nursing staff in a supportive team-working environment
- Demonstrate good attention to detail and timeliness with documentation
- Work well with others in a team setting.
