About The Position
St. Luke's Hospital is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our outpatient team. This full-time position is integral to our mission of providing exceptional care to every patient, every time. Under the supervision of the Rehab Manager, Lead Physical Therapist, and Staff Physical Therapists, the PTA will play a crucial role in preparing patients and equipment for physical therapy sessions. After the initial evaluation by a registered physical therapist, the PTA will administer therapy and perform necessary documentation to ensure continuity of care. This role requires a commitment to teamwork and collaboration with all members of the healthcare team, ensuring that all duties are performed in alignment with St. Luke's mission and values of human dignity, compassion, justice, excellence, and stewardship. The ideal candidate will possess an Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant Program and hold current licensure or be eligible for licensure by the Missouri State Board of Healing Arts.
