Requirements

Education: Associate’s degree from a PTA program.
Experience: Rehab or acute care experience preferred.
License: Current PTA license in state of practice.
Certifications: CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

Implement individualized treatment plans using a variety of therapy techniques and modalities
Monitor patient progress and communicate updates or adjustments to the supervising therapist
Document care services and patient outcomes with accuracy and clarity
Educate patients and their caregivers about physical challenges and therapeutic goals
Support discharge planning, including equipment recommendations and community resource referrals
Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure the highest quality of patient care
