More about our team Our rehabilitation programs at our Oklahoma City South Hospital provide ongoing care and specialized treatment to patients throughout their recovery journey. We offer customized, intense rehabilitation tailored to the individual needs of those recovering from stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury.

Requirements

  • Applicants must be a graduate of an approved Physical Therapy Assistant program and must have an Oklahoma License in Physical Therapy Assistant.
  • Basic Life Support certification is required within 30 days of hire.
  • ACLS and PALS are required within six months of hire.

Nice To Haves

  • One year of experience preferred
  • ASLS certification preferred

Responsibilities

  • Supports therapists in assessing the condition of patients, planning treatment programs, preparing treatment schedules and keeping records on the progress of treatment.
  • Assists with therapeutic procedures or administering procedures under a therapist's supervision.
  • Assists in exercise instruction and demonstration, patient evaluation and testing.
