More about our team How you'll contribute An Acute Care and/or Outpatient Rehab Physical Therapist Assistant who excels in this role: Supports therapist in assessing the condition of patients, planning treatment programs, preparing treatment schedules and keeping records on the progress of treatment. Assists with therapeutic procedures or administering procedures under a therapist's supervision. Assists in exercise instruction and demonstration, patient evaluation and testing. Harris Regional Hospital is an 86-bed acute care facility, including orthopedics, cardiology, general surgery, women's care, and emergency medicine, as well as sports medicine, physical therapy, imaging and laboratory services, and many other areas of subspecialty care.
Requirements
- Must be a graduate of an approved Physical Therapy Assistant program and possess an NC Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant.
- Basic Life Support certification is required within 30 days of hire.
- ACLS and PALS are required within six months of hire.
- One year of experience preferred

- ASLS certification preferred
