About The Position

Responsibilities

• Assist physical therapist in treating patients with therapeutic exercise to restore function, improve mobility, decrease pain and improve overall health.
• Proper application of treatment modalities including hot pack and cold pack under the supervision of a PT.
• Knowledgeable of proper form during exercise/stretching, staying attentive to the patient and be able to correct form using verbal cuing, tactile cuing, and demonstration.
• Maintain professional and friendly demeanor while interacting with patients.
• Monitoring of patient treatment area to ensure safety of all patients during therapy appointments.
• Assist in keeping gym and treatment rooms clean after patient use.
• Greet patients at front desk area, notify therapist of patient arrival and escort to gym area or treatment room.
• Assist front desk coordinator with various reception area tasks including: answering phone, greeting patients, pull/file patient charts, scheduling patients.
