Premier Orthopedics and Sports Medicine is looking for a Physical Therapy Aide to work at our Brinton Lake, PA Physical Therapy clinic. Requirements

  • Minimum of a high school diploma.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to positively interact with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, physicians, government agencies/personnel and the general public.

Responsibilities

  • Assisting the therapists in the treatment of non-Medicare patients under the therapists' direct supervision.
  • Retrieving hot packs and/or cold packs.
  • Setting up exercise machines as necessary for each individual patient.
  • Monitoring exercise repetitions/form as requested by the therapists.
  • Cleaning up after patients and therapists as necessary.
  • Adhering to work schedules, which may vary from day to day depending on patient need.
  • Performing all front desk job duties including answering the phone, scheduling patients, patient registration, insurance verification, charge entry, payment posting and daily reconciliation.
  • Doing laundry (if applicable) and ensuring towels, gowns, etc. are clean, folded and put away in the appropriate place.
  • Cleaning plinths, equipment, etc. after each patient use.
  • Attending monthly clinic staff meetings or obtaining a copy of the written agenda from the Center Manager if unable to attend.
  • Maintaining current CPR certification.
  • Performing other related duties as requested.
