About The Position

To qualify for this role applicants must be currently enrolled in an accredited Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) program, with at least one year completed. Therapeutic Associates Physical Therapy is seeking a part-time Physical Therapy Aide . This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on clinical experience while working during summer months or academic breaks. Scheduling can be somewhat flexible to align with your school calendar. Requirements

Currently enrolled in an accredited Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) program, with at least one year completed
Must be at least 18 years of age
High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to work during summer months and/or scheduled academic breaks
Strong interest in orthopedic physical therapy, exercise science, and patient care
Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset

Responsibilities

Support a patient-centered team by assisting and taking direction from our Physical Therapists and or Physical Therapist Assistants to provide great patient care.
Provide exceptional customer service to patients, team members and customers.
Implement knowledge of human physiology and physical therapy interventions.
Conduct safe application of modalities and therapeutic procedures as allowed by state laws.
Additional responsibilities as assigned by your leadership.
