About The Position
About the Role: As a Physical Therapy Aide, you will play a vital role in both patient care and clinic operations. You’ll work closely with the doctor and other team members to ensure patients receive effective, compassionate care while supporting the day-to-day needs of the clinic.
Requirements
- The ideal candidate is compassionate, detail-oriented, and committed to creating a warm and welcoming environment for patients.
- You must be comfortable on your feet for extended periods and able to multitask in a team setting.
Responsibilities
- Assist the supervising physician in providing physical therapy services to patients.
- Guide and educate patients through prescribed exercise programs, ensuring proper form and technique.
- Offer encouragement and support to help patients complete exercises confidently and safely.
- Operate therapy equipment such as electrical stimulation machines, ultrasound, and vasopneumatic compression devices.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment by sanitizing therapy equipment daily.
- Perform light cleaning duties including restocking supplies, laundering towels weekly, and keeping frequently used areas like the kitchen and bathrooms tidy.
- Track and manage inventory on a monthly basis.
- Make occasional patient calls for scheduling and follow-up.
- Work as part of a collaborative team to help manage clinic flow and ensure patients are seen on time.
