About The Position

The Physical Therapy Aide at Athletico Physical Therapy plays a crucial role in supporting the rehabilitation process by assisting clinicians and enhancing the patient experience. This part-time position involves a combination of administrative and clinical duties, ensuring that patients receive high-quality care in a welcoming environment.

Requirements

• High school graduate or intern preferred.
• Previous Clinical Aide or Rehab Tech experience preferred.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
• Attention to detail and time management skills are required.
• Ability to provide care/service that exceeds patient expectations.
• Energetic team player with compassion toward patients.
• Basic knowledge of office equipment preferred.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a clinical setting as a rehabilitation aide or technician.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients as they arrive to the clinic and assist with administrative tasks.
• Prepare patients for physical therapy treatments, including putting on and removing supportive devices.
• Assist physical therapists during the administration of treatments and provide routine treatment.
• Safeguard, motivate, and assist patients practicing exercises and functional activities under professional staff direction.
• Provide routine treatments such as hot/cold packs and other modalities like Ultrasounds and Electrical stimulation.
• Clean work areas and equipment after treatment, and maintain linen cabinets by washing and folding linens.
• Restock supplies in restrooms and other areas as needed.
• Assist the Patient Experience Coordinator with answering phones, scheduling appointments, and filing paperwork.
