About The Position

The Physical Therapy Aide will assist the Patient Experience Coordinator and clinicians in providing exceptional rehabilitative services. This role involves greeting patients, assisting physical therapists during treatments, and performing various administrative and clinical duties in compliance with state practice act requirements. Requirements

• High school graduate or intern preferred.
• Previous Clinical Aide or Rehab Tech experience preferred.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to document projects clearly and manage production effectively.
• Attention to detail and time management skills are required.
• Energetic team player with compassion toward patients.

Nice To Haves

• Basic knowledge of office equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for physical therapy treatments by putting on and removing supportive devices.
• Assist physical therapists during the administration of treatments and provide routine treatment.
• Safeguard, motivate, and assist patients practicing exercises and functional activities under professional staff direction.
• Provide routine treatments such as hot/cold packs and other modalities like Ultrasounds and Electrical stimulation.
• Clean work area and equipment after treatment and maintain linen cabinets.
• Restock supplies in restrooms and other areas as needed.
• Assist the Patient Experience Coordinator with answering phones, scheduling appointments, and filing paperwork.
• Keep track of non-medical and medical supplies for the clinic and may order inventory.
