About The Position

Kessler Rehabilitation Center is seeking a Full-Time Physical Therapist for its outpatient facility located in West Orange, NJ. As New Jersey's premier provider of outpatient physical and occupational therapy, Kessler Rehabilitation Center operates more than 95 facilities statewide. Founded in 1948, Kessler has expanded its programs and services to meet the growing demand for quality outpatient therapies, treating over 38,000 patients each year. Requirements

• Must be a graduate of an American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) accredited school of physical therapy.
• Valid New Jersey State Physical Therapy License/Registration required to start.
• Prior experience in outpatient orthopedics preferred; entry level/New Grad acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Performs comprehensive evaluations and develops individualized treatment plans.
• Provides thorough education to patients and caregivers in an understandable manner.
• Plans for discharge when medical necessity no longer indicates skilled therapeutic care.
• Participates in departmental initiatives and communicates effectively with all rehab team members.
• Facilitates professional growth and development within the department.
• Performs other professional duties associated with patient care and therapy services.
