About the position

OSF St. Paul Medical Center Rehab is a hospital-based department that provides therapy services to inpatients and outpatients. Physical, Occupational, and Speech Therapy services are provided to patients across the life span. Therapists treat a wide variety of patient diagnoses, and specialties provided at this location include the BIG program for Parkinson's patients, Pelvic Floor Muscle Dysfunction, Vestibular system dysfunction, and pediatric Speech and Occupational Therapy services. The Physical Therapist assists patients in the restoration of physical function through evaluation and treatment.

Responsibilities

  • Assist patients in the restoration of physical function through evaluation and treatment.
  • Provide therapy services to inpatients and outpatients.
  • Treat a wide variety of patient diagnoses.
  • Participate in professional development and continuing education.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy.
  • Respective state license in Physical Therapy or has graduated successfully from a professional program.
  • CPR certification within 90 days of hire.
  • Valid state driver's license.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Previous experience as a Physical Therapist.
  • Demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide patient care appropriate to the population served.
  • Strong written, oral and interpersonal skills.
  • Analytical ability to evaluate patients' physical and functional status.
  • Excellent computer skills and the ability to process detailed information accurately.
