About The Position
The Physical Therapist at Lexington Regional Health Center is responsible for evaluating and reevaluating patients to determine limitations and establish a plan of care. The role involves administering physical therapy procedures and modalities to achieve treatment objectives, reviewing medical histories, and establishing therapeutic exercise programs. The therapist will also supervise Physical Therapist Assistants, document patient progress, educate patients and families, and communicate with other healthcare providers to enhance patient care. The position requires regular attendance and participation in patient care activities, including handling biohazardous waste and ensuring compliance with infection control guidelines.
