About The Position
A part-time (24 hours, 3-5 days per week) Physical Therapist position is available in a sub-acute/skilled nursing facility located in Wilton, CT. This role offers potential for advancement into a Rehab Team Leader position. Preferred Therapy Solutions is therapist-owned and operated, emphasizing appropriate and ethical patient care. The management team, having worked in similar roles, understands therapists' needs for success, including work-life balance and continuing education. The company believes that the success of residents in reaching their highest level of independence is directly tied to the success and high-quality care provided by their therapists.
Requirements
- Possess a current Physical Therapy license or be license eligible to practice in the state employed
- Demonstrate strong computer skills with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and have experience with electronic documentation
- Demonstrate good attention to detail and timeliness with documentation
- Work well with others in a team setting
- Be flexible with hours
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive and compassionate therapy services in an outpatient and sub-acute/skilled nursing facility setting
- Work collaboratively with other rehab therapists and nursing staff in a supportive team-working environment
