About The Position
The Physical Therapist I provides medically prescribed physical therapy services to restore function, improve mobility, and support safe patient recovery across acute care and outpatient settings, with a specialty focus in lymphedema and orthopedic conditions. New graduates are encouraged to apply, with structured onboarding and mentorship to support a successful transition into practice.
Requirements
- Bachelor/ Masters/ Doctorate/Certificate degree in Physical Therapy.
- Current state Physical Therapy license.
- Current BCLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.
- Prior experience of treating orthopedic conditions preferred.
- Prior experience of treating orthopedic conditions preferred.
- Certified Lymphedema Therapist (CLT) required
- Experienced with Lymphedema required
Responsibilities
- Perform physical therapy evaluations and develop plans of care
- Deliver therapeutic interventions including mobility, gait, and functional training
- Treat patients with orthopedic, cardiopulmonary, neurological, and lymphedema-related conditions
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams on care and discharge planning
- Educate patients on treatment plans and safety
- Maintain accurate, compliant clinical documentation
