Position Summary: Provide rehabilitative treatment and care to appropriate patients through complete and careful evaluation and assessment of patients and developing individualized treatment goals and plan of care. Requirements

  • At least a BS in Physical Therapy required.
  • Licensed or eligible for licensure in the State of Oklahoma required.
  • BLS required.
  • Crisis Prevention training (TEAM) required within 6 months of hire (PRN-N/A).
  • Minimum of 1-3 years’ experience inpatient rehab or acute experience preferred.
  • Recent graduates who have applied for the licensure examination may be considered for provisional appointment.
  • Basic computer skills required.

Nice To Haves

  • First Aid certification preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrates the ability to evaluate patients and establish an appropriate plan of care, adapting the plan of care to patient/caregiver needs and goals.
  • Implements patient care in a knowledgeable and skillful manner, maintaining a high quality of work performance in all areas.
  • Demonstrates the ability to provide the proper assistance, verbal cueing, etc. necessary for optimal performance.
  • Demonstrates the ability to instruct patients and/or caregivers in treatment procedures, home programs, orthotics/prosthetics and special equipment using clear verbal and/or written instructions.
  • Demonstrates knowledge and or experience in outpatient therapy and sport injuries.
  • Maintain necessary documentation.
