About The Position

Therapy Partners of North Texas serves the Greater North Dallas Area with 22 evidence-based practices that provide comprehensive evaluations, treatments, and prevention strategies for general orthopedic-related injuries to the spine and extremities. Our philosophy is to provide excellent therapy through personalized care and education. We support creative and individualized therapeutic planning and intervention. We ensure patient comprehension and emphasize proper treatment progression to guarantee optimal results for our patients. We're looking for a compassionate and skilled Physical Therapist to join our growing healthcare team in Allen, Texas. In this role, you'll make a meaningful difference in patients' lives by delivering high-quality physical therapy services and helping them achieve their rehabilitation goals. You'll work in a collaborative environment where your expertise, empathy, and dedication to patient care are truly valued.

Requirements

  • Graduate degree from CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapy program
  • Current state of Texas license and CPR certification
  • Ability to create and implement outpatient balance and vestibular rehabilitation-setting treatment plans or willingness to learn
  • Ability to work efficiently/effectively in an autonomous environment
  • Basic PC skills and knowledge, including but not limited to Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system, database software, and MS Office

Responsibilities

  • Assess patients comprehensively and develop individualized treatment plans based on evaluation findings and physician referrals
  • Review medical records, diagnostic reports, and patient history to determine appropriate physical therapy interventions
  • Implement evidence-based treatment programs utilizing manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and sports rehabilitation protocols
  • Provide direct patient care in accordance with established clinical protocols and best practice guidelines
  • Document patient progress, treatment outcomes, and clinical findings in a timely and organized manner
  • Communicate effectively with patients, caregivers, physicians, and insurance providers to ensure coordinated and transparent care
  • Supervise and mentor rehabilitation technicians, ensuring quality patient care delivery
  • Develop comprehensive plans of care with measurable, goal-oriented objectives tailored to each patient's needs
  • Maintain accurate and detailed documentation, including initial evaluations, progress notes, discharge summaries, and incident reports
  • Stay current with evidence-based practices and contribute to a culture of continuous professional development and innovation
